All the concerts
in general are held at our home, the Beverly Hills Presbyterian
Church; the historic facility and the amazing acoustics of the Beverly
Hills Presbyterian Church are unique to Los Angeles.
You
are invited to enjoy beautiful chamber, choral, orchestral, and
jazz music played by award-winning musicians from around the world.
The goal of the series
is to bring the community together by showing that music can serve
as a model for cooperation and collaboration. By valuing artistic
and professional excellence, the music is an example of the possibilities
of democracy, tolerance, and humanity.
Unless otherwise noted, all of our concerts are
FREE
to the public
and held on Sunday at 4:00 PM at the
Beverly
Hills Presbyterian Church - 505 N. Rodeo Drive
at Santa Monica Blvd.
in Beverly Hills.

The
artists will make a special appearance together for this
concert to perform the works of
Beethoven and Frank which are the cornerstone
masterpieces of the Violin/Piano chamber music repertoire.
Ms.
Popov and Mr. Kerber have
each established eminent
careers and both radiate an irresistibly engaging presence.
Ms. Popov is the First Violinist of the California String
Quartet and holds Principal positions with the Hollywood Bowl
Orchestra and the Long Beach Symphony and is the
exConcertmaster of the European S-y Orhestra. Mr. Kerber
is the pianist of choice for some of the most famous
Hollywood Film composers such as John Williams, James Horner,
Alan Silvestri, David Newman and James Newton Howard. He has
an Academy Award nomination for his work on “The Color
Purple”.

first California tour under the direction of Dr. Lisa Graham.
The program will include works by Bach, Mendelssohn,

quartet’s successful collaboration with one of the most
sought after cellists of our time, Andrew Shulman, continues
with his appearance with them on this special program with a
rare performance of the Borodin Double Cello Quintet.
